Rainwater harvesting is the process of collecting and storing the rainwater from surfaces like rooftops for the future use. It involves the components such as catchment area, gutters, filtration system and storage tanks.                     

The benefits of harvesting rain water includes water conservation, reduces our reliance on the municipal water supplies, lowers water bills and decreases surface runoff and soil erosion. 

A harvesting of rainwater systems works by capturing the rainwater from the rooftop area and the water is redirected through the gutters and downspouts  to the filtration system to remove debris and stored in a tank.
